The Spellman Museum of Stamps and Postal History in Weston, Massachusetts, is an independent nonprofit museum on the Regis College campus devoted to exploring diversity, history, and geography through stamps, postal history, exhibits, and educational programs. Founded in the early 1960s around the collection of Cardinal Francis Spellman, it also grew from material transferred after Philadelphia’s National Philatelic Museum closed. Opened in 1963 and later renamed in the 1990s to reflect a broader mission, it now holds more than two million items, including stamps, mail-related artifacts, and research materials, using them to connect visitors with wider stories of culture, belief, and everyday life.
