The Kenmore - Tonawanda Municipal Building exemplifies the classical-monumental style of renowned architect E.B. Green. It was erected in 1936 with Public Works Administration funds to house the governing bodies of the Village of Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda, replacing the former Kenmore Union School Building on this site.
