Constructed from 1787 to 1790 for Robert de Logny, Destrehan Manor House was inherited by Jean Noel d’Estrehan in 1800. It was bought from the heirs of Pierre A. Rost in 1914 by Mexican Petroleum Co. and donated in 1972 to River Road Historical Society by American Oil Co.
