Eiler Larsen made this artist colony his "Greeting Corner" of the world, and by giving all a friendly wave and warm smile he became known as Laguna's official greeter. An 800 year old Mendocino redwood tree was transformed into his likeness by sculptor Guy Angelo Wilson.
