Daniel T. Stark built this bridge and other facilities within South Abington Recreation Park as an employee of his father's company, Stark's Construction. A 1996 graduate of Abington Heights High School, he was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps at the time of his tragic accident on 9/7/01. He was regarded as a model of future leadership in the community, and his spirit and smile are remembered.
