Iron Mountain is a prominent summit in Colorado’s southern Sangre de Cristo Range, within the Rocky Mountains of North America. Rising to 11,416 feet, it stands west-northwest of North La Veta Pass on the drainage divide between Costilla and Huerfano counties. Its significance lies in its clearly distinct rise within the surrounding range, which gives it the character of a notable peak in this part of the mountains.
