Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement
Arts & Culture
The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, grew from Rodolfo “Rudy” Ciccarello’s private collecting after his interest in the movement began in 1997 with Gustav Stickley furniture. Through the Two Red Roses Foundation, established in 2004, he built a collection of American fine and decorative art from about 1880 to 1920 and created a privately funded museum after an earlier Tampa plan failed. Designed with Alfonso Architects around Arts and Crafts principles, the museum opened in 2021. Its holdings include furniture, ceramics, metalwork, prints, photography, and immersive period interiors, with an expansion announced for 2025.
