Heirline Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, crossing the Juniata River between Harrison Township and Napier Township. Built in 1902 as a Burr Truss bridge, it represents a structural form widely used for longer wooden spans. The bridge is 136 feet long and covered by a medium-pitched gable roof, giving it the enclosed appearance long associated with rural Pennsylvania bridges. As one of fifteen historic covered bridges in the county, it holds an important place in the region’s bridge-building tradition. Its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 recognized both its local significance and broader historical value.
