Mount Geikie, a 3,298-metre peak in Mount Robson Provincial Park in British Columbia, is the highest summit of The Ramparts near Tonquin Valley and is distinguished by a north face that rises more than 1,500 metres, making it one of the Canadian Rockies' notable great north faces. Formed of Cambrian quartzite thrust eastward during the Laramide orogeny, it was named in 1898 for Scottish geologist Sir Archibald Geikie. The summit was first climbed in 1924, and the north face first ascended in 1967, with later climbs, including the first solo ascent in 2017, strengthening its standing as a major climbing objective.
