Granite Peak is a mountain in northern California's Trinity Alps, located within the Trinity Alps Wilderness west of Highway 3 and Trinity Lake. Rising to 8,094 feet, it is part of the region's high country and is especially known for heavy winter snowfall, a defining characteristic of its alpine setting.
