Camp Curtis is remembered with Co. E and I of the 2nd California Volunteer Infantry in 1862 - 1863, Co. B of the 1st Battalion Mountaineers California Volunteers in 1863 - 1864, Co. A of the 1st Battalion Native California Volunteer Calvary in 1864, and Marie Brizard Todd, a pioneer of 1847.
