Veterans Memorial Hall was dedicated on Memorial Day in 1939. Owned by the County of Shasta and maintained by the War Veterans of Shasta County, it was built for the War Veterans of Shasta County in memory of those who gave their lives for freedom. The general contractor was Adam Arras & Son Contractors, and funding came from the County of Shasta and the WPA. It was also listed in an architectural historian book by David Gebhard.
