Martin Auto Museum in Glendale, Arizona, is a privately owned nonprofit museum created from Mel Martin’s long-running car collection and opened as an educational public display. After decades in automobile-related businesses and collecting since the 1960s, Martin organized the collection in 2005 and founded the museum in 2008. It moved to a larger site in 2022 and now displays more than 175 vehicles, from an 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen to classics, racing-related cars, and low-mileage special-interest models. Memorabilia and other motoring-related objects broaden the collection, making it a major showcase of automotive history in greater Phoenix.
