The Town of Randolph was incorporated in 1793, with a bicentennial observed in 1974. It had been part of the Mount Wollaston Settlement in 1625 and was included in an Indian deed grant by Wampatuck Sagamore, Sachem Chief Chicataubut, in the reign of Charles II in 1665.
