Pennsylvania Keystone Markers were placed at a municipality to tell travelers how far it was to the next municipality on main state routes. At New Florence, one marker is located at the borough line and the other is on Route 711 at the Furnace Lane line. They were restored by the Laurel Valley Area Historical Society.
