Pinecrest Gardens in Pinecrest, Florida, is a 20-acre botanical garden and public park on the original site of Parrot Jungle, a South Florida attraction that opened there in 1936 and stayed until moving to Watson Island in 2003. After the Village of Pinecrest acquired the property in 2002, it preserved and adapted the landscape as a community park while retaining features such as mosaic pathways, birdcages, plant displays, and a geodesic dome amphitheater from the early 1940s. Recognized as the Parrot Jungle Historic District in 2011, the site remains significant as both a historic landscape and an active public green space.
