The Clermont County Fair is one of the oldest fairs in Ohio. The first fair was held in Franklin, Monroe Township, in 1846. The fair was held in Bantam from 1849 to 1856 and in Olive Branch from 1857 to 1863. It later relocated to Boston, now called Owensville. The Clermont County Agricultural Society manages the fair. At first it was known as the Boston Fair. The site of the fairgrounds was also the location of the first log school in Stonelick Township in 1805.
