Bald River Gorge Wilderness is a protected wilderness area in Tennessee within the Cherokee National Forest. Encompassing 3,721 acres, it was designated in 1984 and is administered by the United States Forest Service. At an elevation of about 2,642 feet above sea level, it is part of the federally protected backcountry set aside to preserve a more undeveloped landscape within the national forest.
