Leucadia State Beach, also known as Beacon's Beach, is a public beach in Encinitas, California. Established in 1949, it covers 10.6 acres and serves as a popular coastal recreation area for swimming, surfing, fishing, and other beach activities. Although it is a California state beach, it is operated by the city under a 20-year agreement with the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
