Men and women of Jonesboro served their country on land, at sea, and in the air during World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, and from 1954 to 2000, and the community's roll of honor records those who served in 1917 to 1918, 1941 to 1945, 1950 to 1953, and 1954 to 2000. It also preserves the memory of Stanley H. White, who made the supreme sacrifice in Korea on March 9, 1953.
