Kupunkamint Mountain is an 8,802-foot peak in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park, located in the park’s southeastern section in Montana. Officially adopted in 1940 by the United States Board on Geographic Names, its name commemorates a Kootenai Indian. As one of the named summits of the Lewis Range within Glacier National Park, it helps form the area’s rugged skyline.
