White Calf Mountain
Nature
White Calf Mountain is an 8,898-foot peak in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park in Montana. South of Divide Mountain near the park’s eastern side, it rises just west of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation boundary. It is part of the rugged chain of summits that shapes Glacier’s eastern skyline, where the Lewis Range climbs steeply above the surrounding country. Its location places it in a landscape known for steep relief and alpine terrain, while also reflecting the close geographic relationship between the park’s mountains and the neighboring Blackfeet homeland.
