Shoshone John Peak is an 11,212-foot mountain in Idaho’s Lemhi Range, located in Butte County on the boundary between Caribou-Targhee National Forest and Salmon-Challis National Forest. It stands about 1 mile south of Big Boy Peak, its line parent, and roughly 1.8 miles north of Little Diamond Peak. Rising to 11,212 feet, it ranks as the 76th highest peak in Idaho.
