Fowlers Hollow State Park is a small Pennsylvania park in Toboyne Township that serves both as a recreation area and a gateway to Tuscarora State Forest. Its land was heavily logged in the early 1900s by the Perry Lumber Company, which clear-cut the area, used a narrow-gauge railroad, and operated portable sawmills before logging ended by 1905. Pennsylvania bought 2,573 acres in 1907, and Fowlers Hollow was later developed during the Great Depression through the Works Progress Administration, with some Civilian Conservation Corps stone fireplaces still surviving. Today, Fowler Hollow Run supports a brown trout fishery, and the park offers campsites, trails, and access for hunters, snowmobilers, and cross-country skiers.
