Honor Heights Park is a 132-acre public botanical garden and arboretum in Muskogee, Oklahoma, developed from land the city purchased in 1909 and renamed in 1919 to honor soldiers of World War I. Known especially for its azaleas and annual April Azalea Festival, it blends formal gardens, memorial spaces, trails, and recreation areas on a hilltop setting. Its features include rose, dogwood, native tree, and floral collections, an amphitheater, lakes and ponds for fishing, and the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in an 1875 Indian Agency building. In late spring and summer it hosts seasonal attractions, and in November and December it becomes the illuminated Garden of Lights.
