Terrace Mountain is part of New York’s Catskill Mountains and lies south-southwest of Phoenicia in Ulster County. Its setting is defined by several nearby peaks and ridges: Wittenberg Mountain rises to the southwest, Fork Ridge lies to the west-northwest, and Cross Mountain stands to the east. Together these surrounding landforms place Terrace Mountain within the closely grouped mountain landscape of this part of the Catskills.
