Big Draft Wilderness is a 5,144-acre protected area in the Monongahela National Forest of southeastern West Virginia, occupying the forest’s southernmost acreage in the Allegheny Mountains. Named for Big Draft, a tributary of Anthony Creek, it includes the Anthony Creek watershed as the land rises to about 3,121 feet along Greenbrier Mountain and descends to around 1,800 feet where Anthony Creek reaches the Greenbrier River. Created by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009, the wilderness protects trout-bearing streams and preserves a backcountry landscape linked by trails such as Blue Bend, Anthony Creek, and South Boundary.
