The OH-58D Kiowa Warrior is a single-engine armed reconnaissance helicopter with advanced avionics, navigation, communication, weapons, and cockpit integration systems. Its mast-mounted sight houses a thermal imaging system, low-light television, and a laser rangefinder/designator for target acquisition and engagement. The original tail number of this aircraft was OH-58A 68-16871; it was converted to OH58D 89-0105 and then converted to OH-58D Kiowa Warrior 94-0169.
