Cast in 1854, this bell hung in the steeples of two different buildings from 1854 until 1927. For 73 years it invited the community to worship and rallied citizens to fight fires. It remained in storage from 1927 until recently except when displayed in the church from 1975 to 1992 and rung on special occasions.
