Mount Linn is an 8,098-foot peak in the Yolla Bolly Mountains of northwestern California, within the Yolla Bolly-Middle Eel Wilderness of Shasta-Trinity National Forest. As the easternmost summit of South Yolla Bolly Mountain, it is the highest peak in the northern California Coast Ranges south of the Trinity Alps and ranks among the tallest and most prominent coastal range peaks in the contiguous United States. Its elevation brings heavy winter snow and cool temperatures, while nearby terrain preserves evidence of older glaciation, including a north-slope cirque holding Square Lake. John C. Frémont named the mountain for Missouri senator Lewis F. Linn.
