North Yolla Bolly Mountain is a remote 7,868-foot summit in Northern California’s Klamath Mountains, deep within the Yolla Bolly-Middle Eel Wilderness. Near Black Rock Mountain and not far from Mount Linn, it anchors a cluster of high peaks known for heavy winter snowfall, broad views, and rugged alpine terrain, including North Yolla Bolly Lake on its north slope. The mountain is especially significant for its hydrologic setting: its slopes and nearby Skylight Ridge separate the headwaters of the South Fork Trinity, Cottonwood Creek, and the Middle Fork Eel, forming a triple divide among the Klamath, Sacramento, and Eel river systems.
