Katharine McAfee Parker, the daughter, wife, and mother of Presbyterian ministers, was one of the American church leaders who visited Europe in 1946 to see the effects of World War II on Protestantism. Her writings included a biography of her father and the words to the Hanover Alma Mater. Her husband served as president of Hanover College from 1929 to 1958.
