Fremont Falls, near Hanover, Indiana, close to the Ohio River, is the highest waterfall in the state at 108 feet. It stands a few miles south of Hanover on private property, just southwest of the intersection of Fremont Falls Road and River Bluff Drive. Chain Mill Falls lies to the northwest in the same gorge, making Fremont Falls part of a small cluster of notable waterfalls along the river bluffs.
