Brophy Hill is a summit in Jackson County, Oregon, rising 2,119 feet, or 646 meters, in the landscape of southern Oregon. The hill was named in the 1930s for Vern Brophy Whome, a local cattleman. Although little else is recorded here about the summit, its name preserves a connection between this prominent local height and the ranching history of the surrounding area.
