The Methodist Episcopal Churchyard is associated with a church built circa 1804. Its early congregation used the old school baptist meeting house and burying ground at Cheesequake. It was part of the old freehold circuit and the early foundations of methodism in N.J. The churchyard contains graves of early settlers and soldiers.
