Mount Church is a twelve thousand two hundred-foot peak in Idaho’s Lost River Range within the Salmon-Challis National Forest, lying between Leatherman Peak and Donaldson Peak. At that elevation, it is the third highest mountain in both Idaho and the Lost River Range. Although it is a prominent summit, it has neither an official name nor an official measurement. The commonly used name honors Frank Church, a former United States senator from Idaho.
