Leatherman Peak is a mountain in Idaho’s Lost River Range in Salmon-Challis National Forest. Rising to 12,228 feet above sea level, it is the second-highest peak in both the range and the state. Its summit stands about 4.5 miles southeast of Borah Peak, its line parent, and about 4.5 miles northeast of U.S. Route 92. The mountain was named after Henry Leatherman.
