At Pope Air Force Base Air Park, tribute is paid to the men and women who flew and maintained these aircraft, answering the call to arms, embracing difficult challenges, and upholding the proud heritage of the United States Air Force. Made possible by the generous contributions of the Pope Special Activities Committee, 23d Civil Engineer Squadron, and the Fort Bragg Corps of Engineers, the air park links the present and the past and was dedicated on 22 April 1994.
