Mount Audubon is a 13,229-foot peak in the Indian Peaks of Colorado’s northern Front Range, within the Rocky Mountains. Located in the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Roosevelt National Forest, about 5.6 miles west-northwest of Ward, it is one of the higher summits in the Indian Peaks group and is classed as a Colorado thirteener. The mountain was named for naturalist and bird artist John James Audubon. It remains notable today as part of the protected wilderness landscape in the mountains west of Boulder.
