Baker Mountain is a 12,410-foot summit in Grand County, Colorado, in the Never Summer Mountains along the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, with part of its west side in the Never Summer Wilderness. Though the range's fifteenth-highest peak, it stands out for its steep topographic relief above the Kawuneeche Valley and Baker Gulch. Runoff from its slopes feeds the headwaters of the Colorado River, though some is diverted by the Grand Ditch. The mountain was named for John R. Baker, who made the first recorded ascent in 1875, and its name was officially adopted in 1932.
