Denton Hill State Park is a 700-acre Pennsylvania state park in Potter County on U.S. Route 6 between Coudersport and Galeton, notable for being developed around downhill skiing rather than the more typical regional park model. Established in 1951 and opened in 1959, it became the first ski operation run by the Pennsylvania Department of Forests and Waters, with its lodge and ski area built from 1958 to 1967. Later operated privately as Ski Denton, it was known for terrain ranging from beginner runs to challenging black diamond slopes. After downhill skiing ended in 2014, the area remained important for biking and trail access, with plans in 2023 to reopen it as a four-season resort.
