Medfield Rhododendrons is a 196-acre nature reserve in Medfield, Massachusetts, managed by the Trustees of Reservations. Established in 1934, it preserves the largest area of Rhododendron maximum in the state. This extensive population of great laurel is especially important because the species is listed as threatened by the Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program due to past over-collecting. The reserve is significant for protecting an unusually large native stand of rhododendrons within a safeguarded landscape.
