Fairview Cemetery
History

The first grave was interred on this knoll in 1834 when the community was known as Ingham Center. Officially designated as Fairview Cemetery in 1867, it became the burial place of local families, veterans, and founding fathers. The Crossman Chapel, built in 1895, is the resting place of Daniel Crossman, for whom the village of Dansville is named.
