Mee Canyon is a remote scenic canyon in west-central Colorado within the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness and the Bureau of Land Management’s McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. Reached mainly by boat on the Colorado River or by a route from near Glade Park, it remains largely natural because of its isolation and primitive facilities. Its most notable features include Arch Tower, a 375-foot Wingate Sandstone formation with a natural arch that was first climbed in 2003, and a 100-foot-deep alcove cut into soft sandstone by a year-round stream flowing around a large rubble pile from the fallen ceiling.
