Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum became a distinctive Farmington Hills attraction by combining a vintage coin-operated amusement collection with a working arcade. Built from pharmacist Marvin Yagoda's restored machines, it grew from his garage to Tally Hall in the early 1980s, then into its own mall space and later reopened in 1990 after redevelopment. Visitors encountered antique games, automata, fortune tellers, and unusual curiosities alongside modern arcade machines and prizes. The collection also reflected sideshow and animatronic history. After Yagoda's death in 2017, his son Jeremy took over. The original site closed in 2025, and the museum is relocating to West Bloomfield with plans to reopen in 2026.
