DuNoir Glacier is one of the few glaciers in Wyoming’s Absaroka Range. It lies within Shoshone National Forest on the northeast slope of Coffin Butte, a peak that rises to 11,317 feet. The glacier stands out as a notable high-mountain feature in a range where glaciers are uncommon.
