Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme, New Hampshire, is a college-owned ski area that serves both Dartmouth College and the Upper Valley community. Evolving from an earlier operation on Oak Hill, it opened at its present site in 1957 and expanded in 1968 onto Winslow Ledge, with later additions including new lifts, snowmaking, and the McLane Family Lodge. The mountain offers more than 100 acres of terrain, 30 trails, and facilities for skiers of varied ability. Closely tied to Dartmouth’s winter traditions, it supports ski instruction, patrol work, Winter Carnival alpine events, and has hosted the NCAA Skiing Championships in 1958 and 2003.
