Founded by the Grams family in 1960 in Volo, Illinois, this automotive museum and collector car dealership grew into a 75-acre campus with five large buildings and about 50 exhibits devoted to collector vehicles and pop-culture memorabilia. It is especially known for American cars from the 1950s through the 1980s and for the unusual practice of offering many displayed vehicles for sale. Its most prominent attraction is a large collection of television and movie cars, including KITT, Ecto-1, the Bluesmobile, and the General Lee, alongside replicas, props, animatronics, military-history displays, and antique malls.
