This administration building housed administrative offices as well as clinical functions including X-ray, surgical, and dental offices, the medical library, the schoolteacher's office, and staff convalescence rooms. It was attached to the infirmary building, and a circular drive led off the main driveway on the east. In 1941, Dr. H.S. Willis, superintendent and medical director, said the sanatorium aimed to restore health through good nursing and bedside care, comfortable housing in healthful surroundings, palatable and attractive food, occupational diversions when patients were ready for them, and a cooperative relationship with each patient toward health restoration.
