Dan Hibbert originally opened the OK Livery Stable on July 8, 1901. In 1911, early pioneer Zeb Pearce started in the produce business two buildings to the east and moved to this location in 1915. The Pearce family occupied it for 88 years. Later called Zeb Pearce Companies, the business had one of the first ammonia cooler refrigerator boxes in Arizona, and in 1933 Zeb became the first distributor for Coors Beer because of this cooler.
